mostly I try to visit the projects before to talk about, but here, the project is located on a Croatian island (Silba) that I am not about to visit.
It is therefore a fairly modest extension project, conducted by the agency Bevk Perovic, Slovenian architects. This extension only includes a guest room, amenities and a bathroom. But the most singular is the outdoor space created by the concrete roof that furnish only a few benches and an outdoor kitchen. In continuation of the existing building, the architects have demonstrated an incredible reason to perform with a lot of ways, an idea so simple and elegant. Admire the framing of the garden. And on the roof, minimalist ambience for an invitation to contemplation .... Only around two noble materials, concrete and stone masonry, they were able to cope with an astonishing precision extension.
